Alana as a 3 year old in California
We had great fun at the 2014 American National in the roadster classes with Alana so we took her again in 2015. She was Reserve Champion both years. Although still considered a green roadster, she made a lot of progress this year at Tulsa and by the third class she was focusing on her work more than her surroundings. We know it takes a while to make a roadster and are having fun seeing her progress. She loves it!
Eos means light so we enjoyed choosing this above head study for Alana’s first Welsh Review Ad taken by our son Jeff, one early summer morning. Alana is so photogenic we had a lot of pictures to choose from. She came to us from Steve and Sarah Dickmeyers farm in the spring of 2011 to be a part of our Welsh Pony family.
We love Alana’s movie star face and her beautiful trot. She is a mare with a lot of power in a feminine package and a real sweetheart. She had a grey roan colt in 2013 by Indy who we think is the cat’s pajamas. We are always looking for new big dog toys for him. He is making baskets with his ball and loves his squeaker toys which always end up in his water bucket. He looks like the Coed Coch baby pictures I think. Lots of quality and the kind of face you would expect from Indy and Alana. He is fearless and will make a great driving pony as he also has a big, showy, free reaching trot. (UPDATE: Well, GreyGlyn Independence, aka Rocky, is turning into a beauty. Big, big mover with his mom’s elegance and his dad’s beautiful front end and disposition he is my favorite.)
Alana was trained in harness by Jim Knight in Missouri. Jim and his wife Kathi, have trained many champion roadster ponies and numerous pleasure driving ponies.
Alana came to us with a 2010 show record: Brookside – 1st 3-4 year old mares (she was 3), Champion Senior mare, Res. Champion Section A Pony. At the American National West Coast she was 1st in 3-4 year old mares, Res. Senior Champion mare and Res. Grand Champion Section A Pony. She placed second in the 5 and over class at the 2012 American National and Tulsa State Fair. Alana photos by Jeff Myers.

Some of your listings under horses for sale come up with error. Could you let me know what you have for sale and is Gwendoline and her filly for sale?
Thank you
